Din Tai Fung

This was my long overdue post. I just realized it kept as draft. I had my very 1st Ding Tai Fung at singapore in year 2005. Each time i passed by this restaurant at The Garden, you can see people queening.


Now you can find an open kitchen concept very easily especially in this kind of Shanghai restaurant.

Pasta Zanmai @ Hartamas Shopping Center

Pasta Zanmai, Sushi Zanmai, Rakuzen all these are under 1 company. Today, let me introduce you Pasta Zanmai @ Hartamas Shopping Center.

I Prefer this branch is because quiet and not crowded during weekend.
We order 1 smoothies, 1 jar of ice fruits tea and some main course. Warn you 1st, the portion can be very huge, no dessert for the day, all of us were full, no space for dessert anymore. So, be more wiser next time.......

Ice Fruits Tea
- We order one jar of this, very fruity and full of fruits fragrance. Recommend.

Strawberries Smoothies


Beef Teppanyaki Set
- Very normal for this dish, this time round i ordered for the "well done" beef instead of 70% cooked or medium. The beef is not soft to chew but the fry rice is nice.

Prawn and Squid Pasta
- Is a dry version pasta full of prawns and squids

This set come with ebi tempura pasta and unagi rice
- The greedy me wanted to eat pasta and unagi, so i decided for this set. Ebi tempura is fresh and big, the sesame gravy is rice, go very well with the pasta

- Can you see the egg? Fresh unagi make with egg and eat with rice.. Yummy.........

Ngau Kee Beef Noodle @ Jalan Tengkat Tong Shin

I don't think this is a restaurant, for me its just a stall at Jalan Tengkat Tong Shin. They famous for beef noodle.

This is actually the chili sauce for chicken rice, however i found it in many beef noddle stall in KL. This version not so spicy nor sour, very normal.

I usually will order dry hor fun when i eat beef noodle. For me, it only can taste out the actual taste. They aunt gave a lot of minced beef, i like it.

Apart from the noodle, 2 beef ball, some beef brisket and beef meat. If the beef meat is in sliced, it will taste better, is hard to chew. The soup is clear but too oily as you can see.


Beside the mix beef, i also order extra beef ball. If want me to choose, i will still vote for Petaling Street "sin kao kee"

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts @ Times Square

My long waited Krispy Kreme doughnuts are in town. Welcome you on board. I tried this doughnuts 2 years ago during my visit to Bali, Indonesia. I actually suggested that it should come to Malaysia. Finally, it is here in Malaysia. Its first outlet is in Berjaya Times Square, I heard it will open in Subang soon.
This shop located at the left hand side of the main door in Times Square. I went up and down the escalator just to take this picture.

Not much flavors compared to Big Apple/J&Co. But.. the difference and a must try is ...

Original Glaze Doughnuts
- Its very soft for every bite. Even if its left overnight, it still soft. This is highly recommended by me.

Beside original, I also opt for some assorted flavours to try. Some flavours that I had tasted in Bali are not available in Malaysia as yet. Hope there will be more choices soon.
